Yaeji is a rising New York City-based producer and DJ releasing genre-spanning music that is easy to get behind, not to mention her eclectic and engaging DJ sets.

EP2 is fun and thoroughly unique. Her ethereal Korean and English vocals are hypnotic while the beats, also produced by her, make the body of work suitable for almost any vibe. Released through the Godmode label, the sound is experimental and unrestrictive. I love it. Her remix of Drake’s passionfruit is playful and different and acts as a great end to EP 2. The project is only 5 songs long, but you can tell that Yaeji has put her personality and time into it; you will be left wanting much, much more.

I found Yaeji through Baba Stiltz’s remix of her track New York 93 while scouring YouTube for new music. Please see below for a link to this song, her album; EP2, and her NYC Boiler Room set.
