Following BBC's longlisted acts for the Sound of 2018, our Music Sub-Editor, Tom Hurst, has compiled a playlist of his favourite songs from each artist.

With 'Norwegian pop star in waiting', Sigrid, placing first, followed by Rex Orange County and IAMDDB, the playlist ranges from pop, to R&B, to 'Korean-American house music', amongst other genres, as well as Tom's London additions, Not3s and Yung Bxne.
