Spencer Collins: American Suburbia Will Outlive Me
Spencer Collins, from Long Beach, California, shot this set using a 35mm film and the ever classic Canon ae-1 in the fall. Spencer’s beautiful black and white images have a fantastically wide dynamic range. Spencer’s composition lends itself to an ethereal contrast between photos and an almost ephemeral touch that leaves viewers (or at least me) pondering more about the stories that these photos tell.
