Come with Me: A Collection of Short Plays - Part 3

ST.ART has compiled its first experimental dramatic writing collection to bring you Come with Me.  Five playwrights from St Andrews, Stirling, and DePaul University (Chicago, USA) have collaborated to write a short series of one-page plays. The only rule was that every play had to begin with the line “Come with me.” The result is a wide range of creative interpretations, tones, and situations. This is the third play of the cycle.

Come with me

Where?

Anywhere?

Anywhere?

Here.

There?

No here.

We’re here already?

Where are we?

I told you, stupid, we’re here.

But WHERE?

This is nonsense.

You’re nonsense.

I don’t understand.

You can’t just say you don’t understand whenever you can’t come up with a decent line?

What are you talking about?

You can’t just ask what I’m talking about whenever you can’t come up with a decent line.

This is pointless.

Indeed.

We should just leave.

Indeed.

Come with me?
